Alexander Henzi is Assistant Professor at the Department of Statistics and Data Science at Tsinghua University. He obtained his Ph.D. in statistics from the University of Bern, Switzerland, in 2022, where he was a student of Prof. Johanna Ziegel. He worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich in the research group of Prof. Peter Bühlmann, and as a Quantitative Analyst in the Global Wealth Management Division of UBS Switzerland. His research interests cover probabilistic forecasting, statistical forecast evaluation, and sequential hypothesis testing.
