Jang Soo Kim is the chair of Department of Mathematics at Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) in South Korea. Prof. Kim obtained his Ph.D. from KAIST in 2009 under Dongsu Kim. His research interests are enumerative combinatorics and algebraic combinatorics. He has published over 60 papers in international journals including Advances in Mathematics and Memoirs of the AMS. Currently, he serves as Associate Editor for Discrete Mathematics, Handling Editor for Combinatorial Theory, and an editor of Annals of Combinatorics, founded by Professor Chen.
