In June 2025, Dr. Rundong Xu joined the Center for Applied Mathematics.

Dr. Rundong Xu earned his Ph.D. degree from Shandong University in June 2023 and later served as a postdoctoral researcher at Fudan University. Dr. Rundong Xu mainly engages in research on optimal stochastic control, backward stochastic differential equations, and statistical physics. Dr. Rundong Xu has published papers in journals such as SIAM J. Control Optim., ESAIM. Control, Optim. Calc. Var.
