In January 2025, Dr. Huaying Wei joined the Center for Applied Mathematics of Tianjin University.

Dr. Huaying Wei earned his Ph.D. degree from Soochow University in June 2014 and later served as an associate professor at Jiangsu Normal University, and did postdoctoral research at Waseda University in Japan. Dr. Huaying Wei mainly engages in research on Complex Analysis, whose current research lies at the interface of Teichmüller theory, harmonic analysis and Loewner theory, and has published papers in journals such as Adv. Math. and Math. Ann.
