September 3, 2024, Professor Huaizhong Zhao from Durham University (UK) / Shandong University was invited to give a talk. The title is "Ergodicity under nonadditive probabilities". For more information, see the poster.
Professor Huaizhong Zhao graduated from the Department of Mathematics of Shandong University in 1984, majoring in mathematics. He received his Ph.D (dynamical systems) from the Institute of Applied Mathematics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1990, and his Ph.D (stochastic analysis) from the Institute of Mathematics, University of Warwick, UK, in 1995. He has successively worked at the Institute of Applied Mathematics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Mathematics at the University of Warwick, the International Center for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Italy, Swansea University in the UK, the University of California, Irvine, and Loughborough University in the UK. He is currently a professor at Durham University in the UK, Distinguished Professor of High-Level Talents at Shandong University. He has been selected into the EPSRC Established Career Fellowship, Shanghai Overseas High-level Talents, and National Overseas High-level Talents. He has published more than 70 papers in Mem. AMS, CMP, JFA, JDE, SICON, SINUM, SIMA and other journals. The main research direction is stochastic analysis, involving stochastic differential equations/stochastic partial differential equations, especially stochastic dynamic system theory, ergodicity theory and other topics.
