Shizan Fang is a professor at the University of Burgundy in France. He graduated from Wuhan University with the B.Sc. degree in 1985 and received the Ph.D. degree from the University of Paris VI in France in 1990. In 1996, he obtained a professorship at the University of Dijon, France, and was promoted to special professor in 2014. In 2007, he was invited to give a plenary talk in SPA conference, and in the spring of 2024, he was appointed as a guest professor by New York University Shanghai. His research areas are geometric and stochastic analysis.
