Dr. Luz Roncal is an Ikerbasque Research Fellow from the Basque Center for Applied Mathematics in Spain. In 2009, she obtained PhD from the University of La Rioja in Spain. Her primary research interests include harmonic analysis on Heisenberg groups, weighted inequalities, maximal functions on spheres, direction operators, discrete harmonic analysis and PDE. She received the Award of Young Talented Female mathematician (Award Joven Talento Científico Femenino,) in 2019. She has published over 50 papers in journals such as Adv. Math., Math. Ann., Anal. PDE., Trans. AMS., IMRN and others.
